Abstract
One-pot solvothermal reaction of Ni(II) salt with 2-aminopyridine and thiethyl orthoformate in methanol afforded a novel one-dimensional nickel coordination polymer which can be regarded as a potential heterogeneous catalyst for nitroaldol (Henry) reaction.
