Abstract

A new trinuclear porous luminescent coordination polymer with 3,4,6-connected, {[Zn3(Hdpa)(OH)(H2O)2]·6H2O}n (1) (H6dpa = 3, 4-di(3,5-dicarboxyphenyl)phthalic acid), has been synthesized and characterized. Compound 1 contains one unprotonated carboxyl group that can function as a potential active site. Moreover, Luminescent investigations show that 1 exhibits highly effective and selective luminescent sensing for pesticide chlorpyrifos in aqueous solution, which makes its good candidates as luminescent sensors.
