Abstract

This paper presents a novel method of cascaded functional link artificial neural (CFLANN) network model as an adaptive nonlinearity compensator for Linear Variable Differential Transformer (LVDT) based sensing system. The functional link artificial neural network (FLANN) based nonlinearity compensator reported earlier involves high computational complexity and offers poor performance. The present paper proposes a less complexity and high accuracy inverse model processor using a two stage FLANN model.
