A novel long protocol of GnRH agonist: a dramatical increase in pregnancy rate by induction of diminished but significant mid-cycle LH surge

Abstract

In long protocol of GnRH agonist regime, pituitary desensitization prevents premature LH surge and thus it has been believed that mid-cycle LH surge cannot be induced. But serendipitously we found a novel protocol to induce diminished but significant LH surge, increasing dramatically pregnancy rates.
