Abstract

Unfortunately, both frame-based and frameless stereotactic neuronavigation platforms are far from ubiquitous in global neurosurgery, and many facilities lack accurate localization technology to ensure the safety of intracranial surgery such as cerebral hemorrhage evacuation. Based on the principle of stereoscopic geometry, this paper introduces a novel method of intracranial lesion localization using translational and rotational lasers in an external Cartesian coordinate system.
