Abstract

A novel interface-induced seed medicated method was developed for the synthesis of highly visible active Ag@TiO2 hollow nanospheres. The polar/unipolar interface plays a key role in the deposition of Silver particles. SEM, HRTEM, XRD and EDS tests were carried out to characterize the crystal structure. The enhanced photocatalytic performance was investigated, the result indicated that these nanocrystals have super photocatalytic activities with a reaction constant rate of 0.3125 min–1.
