Abstract

An inconsistency condition for 2-port vector network analyzer (VNA) calibration is presented.This inconsistency condition discussed the use of Reciprocal device and Line or Thru for calibration of 2-port VNA. Mathematical analysis is carried out. The experimental results are compared with well known calibration algorithms like Thru-Short-Delay, Thru-Reflect-Line, Short-Open-Load- Reciprocal, and Thru-Short-Match. © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
