Abstract

On the basis of the analysis sparse representation and double random phase encoding, an image encryption algorithm is proposed. The analysis sparse representation of a image, which is obtained by using a learning dictionary, can be considered as an encrypted version of the image. Then the elements of the representation are scrambled with the random pixel exchange technology. And finally, the scrambled representation is re-encrypted by the double random phase encryption technology to improve the security performance of the algorithm. Simulation results show that the proposed image encryption algorithm could provide a good security performance against various attacks.
