Abstract
The silica anchored mononuclear (tris)isopropoxyzirconium, (Sio)Zr(OiPr) 3, is an efficient catalyst for the reduction of ketones and the oxidation of alcohols by hydrogen transfer. Easy separation of the products and recyclability of the catalyst are demonstrated.
