Abstract

In order to solve the problem of inaccuracy transmission model of received signal strength indication(RSSI) based location algorithm and lack of constraints of state vectors of imaging-based location algorithm within indoor environment with disorderly noise, a novel fusion visible light location algorithm based on RSSI and imaging of LEDs is proposed in this paper. The algorithm build fusion state space model based on the RSSI location model and imaging-based location model. Then, fused measurement vector are constructed based on received light power measurement vector and imaging measurement vector. Unscented Kalman Filter(UKF) is applied to solved the fusion location model lastly. Simulation results show better performance in location accuracy and lower Cramer-Rao bound of the proposed algorithm comparing with RSSI-based location and imaging-based location algorithm.
