Abstract

Linear frequency modulation (LFM) signal is a typical non-stationary signal, its detection and parameter estimation play a key role in many fields. In this paper, a novel ℓp- norm method is firstly proposed for LFM signal detection and parameter estimation. Theoretical analysis and simulation experiments show that the proposed method can detect the signal effectively, and then obtain the estimated parameters with high accuracy and stability. Moreover, the proposed parameter estimation method is successfully applied to interferometry, the measurement errors are lower than that of existing FRFT-based methods.
