Abstract
The film structures prepared by means of the Langmuir–Blodgett (LB) technique were found to be quite sensitive to the conditions of the film preparation. We have prepared various kinds of hybrid LB films of a D–π–A zwitter ionic molecule and a clay by changing various parameters during the film preparation. As a result, factors such as surface pressure at film deposition, waiting time for evaporation of the solvent, and barrier speed are found to be important.
