Abstract

With the development of automobile technology, people have new requirements for the function and control of automobile braking system, but the traditional braking system is difficult to meet these requirements. Brake-by-wire system, which is directly assisted by motor, is one of the research hotspots and cutting-edge technologies in the development of automobile technology. A novel Electro-Booster Brake System based on Fuzzy PID control method is proposed in this paper. The vehicle braking model and the current loop model of permanent magnet synchronous motor based on Fuzzy PID control are established in AMESim and Simulink respectively. The controller changes the PID parameters in real time according to the working conditions, adjusts the stator current to control the torque of the motor, so as to change the hydraulic system pressure to adjust the braking force. The co-simulation results of AMESim and Simulink show that, under different working conditions, the braking effect of vehicle based on Fuzzy PID control is more than 11.7% higher than that of traditional PID algorithm, which overcomes the disadvantage of traditional PID that adjust by manual experience, and significantly improves the stability y and safety of the vehicle in the braking process.
