Abstract
This paper presents a novel design of tunable terahertz devices using graphene parallel-plate waveguide (GPPWG). Graphene parallel-plate waveguide can provide tunable propagation constant which can be controlled by the external biasing voltage. To facilitate the design, closed-form design equations are derived. Based on the proposed GPPWG, tunable devices can be designed in the terahertz (THz) range. To verify the proposed theory, a THz power divider with tunable power division ratios is designed and simulated. The simulation results show good agreement with the design theory.
