Abstract

Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANET) is Self Configuring, Infrastructure less, dynamic wireless networks in which the nodes are resource constrained. In the emerging technologies of wireless communication, MANET plays a major role in which each node acts as a router where the reliability of delivering packets is concerned. The nodes in the MANET which are identified as malicious have been eradicated by using recommendation manager algorithm based on certain security schemes, in search for a packet delivery route. Despite, building a trust model that adopts recommendations by other nodes in the network is a challenging problem owing to the contingency of dishonest recommendations. In this paper, a trust-based security scheme is proposed to provide secure routing among the network nodes. The speculative analysis demonstrates robustness and accuracy of the trust model in a dynamic MANET environment.
