Abstract

A novel data-hiding scheme without intra-frame distortion drift in H.264/AVC video streams is proposed in this paper. We exploit several coefficients of a 4 × 4 DCT block of an I frame to accumulate the embedding induced distortion and use the directions of intra-frame prediction to avert the distortion drift. And then we recover the original video as much as possible when the hidden data is extracted out. The experimental results show that our scheme can effectively avert intra-frame distortion drift, get high visual quality and large data embedding capacity.
