Abstract

A novel current and output power equalization strategy of multi-parallel pick-up modules is proposed for the inductively coupled power transfer (ICPT) system in the paper. The ratio of mutual inductance of each pick-up coil is equal to the impedance ratio of each pick-up module by changing the pick-up side compensation capacitance, so that the equalization of the current and output power of each pick-up module is realized. The simulation verified that the current and output power equalization is realized in ICPT system with two parallel pick-up coils with different mutual inductance and coil inner resistance.
