Abstract

Far-field super-resolution imaging aided by a compact metalens is investigated in this paper. The proposed metalens consists of periodically-distributed spiral slot resonators, which can convert the evanescent waves of the target into propagation waves. With the help of antennas in the far-field to receive the information, super-resolution image can be reconstructed by classical imaging algorithm. A resolution of λ/12 is achieved from the simulated results, which is well beyond the diffraction limit.
