A Novel Autonomous Trust Management Model for Mobile Agents

Abstract

AbstractCentral trust mechanism and distributed trust mechanism are two dominant trust mechanisms. However, they are not well suited for mobile agent system since they can’t achieve the trust management autonomy. To achieve the trust management autonomy, the paper presents a novel autonomous trust management model for mobile agents. In the presented model, every agent can implement trust management autonomously; agents can construct the global trust concept by the combination of trust information among agents; an agent can achieve the trust relation with other agent by trust path searching or trust negotiation.
