Abstract
Abstract A novel sodium 4-vinylbenzyl thiosulfate (VBTS) monomer was designed and can be prepared effectively via the Bunte salt reaction in room temperature, which can be conveniently used as the latent chain-transfer monomer in the radical polymerization to prepare branched polymers.
