Abstract

Post-pneumonectomy bronchopleural fistula (PPBPF) is a devastating complication in thoracic surgery, with reported incidences varying from 3.1% to 20% (1-3). The diversity of incidence depends on a number of factors including malignancy or benign conditions and the extent of the resection and the resection technique used (4).
