Introduction: Current standards of trainee operative assessment focus on operative quantity and neglect the objective evaluation of performance quality and trends. This study describes the feasibility of cumulative sum (CUSUM) analytics as an objective method for technical evaluation in robotic hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB) surgery.
