Abstract

In this communication a novel 1-V class-AB transconductor for improving speed performance in Switched-Capacitor (SC) circuits is presented. The transconductor exploits the fact that, in SC circuits, a speed-dissipation tradeoff can be achieved by using class-AB stages in Operational Transconductance Amplifier (OTAs). To this purpose, relationships among bias current, Slew-Rate (SR) and Gain-Bandwidth Product (GBW) in OTAs are analyzed, too.
