Abstract
AbstractWe have developed a novel π/2 and 5π/2 twist bistable TN LC cell. The optical properties of such bistable TN LCD was optimized by a parameter space approach. The switching behaviour was investigated using several switching waveforms. Greyscaling was found to be possible in this bistable TN LCD.
