Abstract

Measurements of longitudinal turbulent velocity were made at pairs of levels inside and above a model plant canopy in the wind tunnel. It was found that above approximately the zero-plane displacement level, the coherence and phase results were similar in many respects to atmospheric data, but that deviations from this behaviour appeared deeper in the model canopy.
