Abstract

Rules for determining the height and spacing of building using obstruction angles are widespread, and have been used in northern Europe to establish principles for the design of housing layouts. A model of such rule systems is used to consider locations in lower lactitudes where obstruction angles might be steeper. Two extensions to published results are presented.
