Abstract
AbstractTwo Russian publications provide new information about the sites on Lake El'gytkhyn in the Chukchi Peninsula: a detailed description of the lake, a discussion of its origin, summary description of 33 blades from the craftsman"s hoard, and 13 objects from the campsite. The fine classification of the blades is criticized and the identification of some of the other tools is questioned.
