Abstract

Abstract This note demonstrates that common results are sensitive to the form of the buyer-seller interaction, whose important role is ignored by most market models. This is presented by an example of a market in which a buyer does not consider a seller's price quotation as final and can demand a lower price threatening to leave if his offer is not met.
