Abstract
Complex dielectric constants e (ω) of ferroelectrics which have been reported to be well expressed by the “Cole-Cole arc law” are re-examined. Empirical formulae for the e (ω) do not satisfy the Kramers-Kronig relation. Possible explanations of this fact are presented.
