Abstract
Henceforth the eastern frontier between the two Empires, starting from the confluence of the Rivers Shilka and Argun, will follow the course of the Amur River to the confluence of the Ussuri River with the Amur. The lands situated on the left bank (to the north) of the Amur River belong to the Empire of Russia, and the lands situated on the right bank (to the south), to the confluence with the Ussuri River, belong to the Empire of China. From the confluence with the Ussuri River to Lake Khanka, the frontier line follows the rivers Ussun and Sungacha. The lands situated on the east (right) of these rivers belongs to the Empire of Russia, and on the west bank (left) to the Empire of China.'
