Abstract

SUMMARYHaemoglobin and potassium types were related to body weights from birth to 1 year of age and first 6-monthly wool yield in the Nali breed of Indian sheep. Weighted mean comparisons between haemoglobin and potassium types made within sires for weights at birth, weaning (3 months), 6 months and 1 year and first 6-monthly wool yield did not show any statistically significant differences for any of these traits.
