Abstract
In this short paper the buckling of two blade-stiffened panels, under combined compressive and shear loading, is re-examined, these panels having been considered in earlier studies. No new theory is developed, but numerical results are presented which are based on the use of the semi-analytical finite strip method, the spline finite strip method and the finite element method. Discussion is given of these results, with the aim of providing clarification with regard to results presented in the earlier studies.
