Abstract

In this note, we discuss the problem about the distribution of the generalized eigenvalue in the complex plane for singular differential systems with time delay. By an example, we illustrate that there may be an infinity of the generalized eigenvalues with arbitrarily large real parts for the singular systems with time delay. We established some conditions to guarantee that all generalized eigenvalues of the systems have real parts upper bound.
