Abstract

In a recent paper, Xiong et al. [2006. A DSS approach to managing customer enquiries for SMEs at the customer enquiry stage. International Journal of Production Economics 103 (1), 332–346] propose a mixed integer programming model for an ATP system capable to respond to several enquiries at a time. The model in its current form can lead to certain problems regarding the constraints and the objective function. In this note, we give a re-formulation of the model.
