Abstract

ABSTRACT Middle Jurassic nonmarine tetrapods are uncommon worldwide and were previously known from one questionable occurrence in North America. The holotype of Entradasuchus spinosus is a crocodyliform skeleton from the Middle Jurassic (late middle Callovian) Entrada Sandstone of Utah. Entradasuchus is distinguished by fused parietals, which are not emarginated by the supratemporal fenestrae, and laterally spinose dorsal osteoderms.
