Abstract

We investigate the existence of multiple solutions for a low-dimensional Neumann problem with non-standard growth set on a strip-like domain of Rn. Variational techniques, depending in particular on a minimax theorem and a version of the principle of symmetric criticality, are employed to establish the existence of three non-zero solutions endowed with axial symmetry. Some consequences are also derived.
