Abstract

The three-dimensional (3D) coordination polymer, [Zn(dpa)(bib)]n (1) [H2dap = diaphonic acid and bib = 1,4-bis(imidazol-1-yl)benzene], was prepared by hydrothermal synthesis and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, FT-IR spectroscopy, XRPD, and elemental analysis. Crystal structure determination revealed that complex 1 shows a threefold diamond topological net. Furthermore, the solid-state luminescent property of [Zn(dpa)(bib)]n was investigated.
