Abstract

This paper researched the security of geo-spatial data in the circulation process. Firstly, the deficiencies of current watermarking algorithms were analyzed through researching existing algorithms. Secondly, the data encryption algorithm idea was introduced into the design of the watermark based on the circulate characteristics of geo-spatial data, watermark information was embedded into the data bytes through the mapping function with additive rule, based on which a new byte stream-based geo-spatial data watermarking algorithm was proposed. Finally, experiments on the proposed watermarking algorithm were performed. The experiments showed that the proposed algorithm was robust and could effectively reduce the availability of geo-spatial data, problems such as the geo-spatial data of access controlling and flow direction tracking in the circulation process were well solved in this paper.KeywordsGeo-spatial dataDigital watermarkingByte streamRobustness
