Abstract

A spotted skunk, Spilogale interrupta (Rafinesque 1820), collected near Perkins, Oklahoma, March 10, 1939, was found to harbor 15 specimens of an apparently new anoplocephalid cestode for which the name Oochoristica oklahomensis is proposed. The worms were fixed in acetic-sublimate solution, stained in borax carmine, cleared in toluol, and mounted in balsam. All of the measurements recorded below, except the length of the entire strobila, were taken from preserved specimens.
