Abstract
The paper presents a new technique for the optimal capacity expansion of projects with multidemands. Fast Enumeration Algorithm is developed for both project timing problems and combined project selection and timing problems involving high cost water resources projects. The structure of the problem is seccessively exploited to produce computationally efficient algorithm to solve problems of dimensions encountered in water resources systems. A numerical example is solved on IBM-360 and the results are presented.
