Abstract
INTEREST in disposing of soluble cutting oil has been highlighted in view of the increasingly stringent regulations and because the old practice of running waste into rivers or streams is now “out”. The difficulty with soluble oil emulsions is that they have too high a water content (up to 95 per cent) to be incinerated and for the same reason are not acceptable for reclamation and recycling.
