Abstract
The nitrosative cyclization of the aldehyde uracil-6-ylhydrazones in the presence of diethyl azodiformate gives the corresponding pyrimido[5,4-e]-as-triazine 4-oxides; several toxoflavin and fervenulin 4-oxides were prepared by this method. The compounds showed characteristic u.v. spectra.
