Abstract

Since my account of the East African Annonaceae (Fl. Trop. E. Africa: Annonaceae (1971)) a number of taxa left undescribed have been recollected more adequately and a certain number of generic changes are also necessary. Some of the new taxa have been dealt with by K. Vollesen (Bot. Notiser 133: 53-62 & 403-404 (1980)) but several others will form the basis of a separate paper. A request for an account of the few taxa which occur in the area covered by the Flora of Ethiopia has, however, rendered necessary the prompt description of the taxon described here.
