Abstract
Aphytis roseni spec. nov. is described and its affinities with other members of the genus indicated. The parasite was imported into Peru from Africa for control of the rufous scale,Selenaspidus articulatus (Morgan). In Peru,A. roseni is achieving substantial biological control.
