Abstract
We describe a new species in the recently erected microhylid frog genus Pseudocallulops , increasing the number of species in this genus from two to three. The new species differs from congeners in body proportions, color and advertisement calls which consist of a series of 4 – 5 soft, distinctly pulsed «creaking» notes. It is presently known only from the Foja Mountains, an isolated mountain range in northern Papua Province of Indonesia.
