Abstract

Phanaeus yecoraensis Edmonds, new species, is described from the vicinity of Yecora, Sonora (Mexico). It is illustrated and compared with Phanaeus flohri Nevinson, from which it differs by male and female secondary sexual characters, elytral relief and sculpturing, and distribution.
