Abstract

A new species, Orbitacolax williamsi, is described from Okinawa, Japan. It differs from the known species of the genus by the presence of a very long seta at the tip of the fourth leg. Orbitacolax hapalogenyos Yamaguti and Yamasu is reported and redescribed from the gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea, and Brazil. Orbitacolax analogus Vervoort is redescribed and O. oniscoides Vervoort is placed in synonomy with O. analogus.
