Abstract
Leptocuma borzonei n. sp. is described and illustrated from material collected in southern Brazil and the province of Buenos Aires, Argentina. This species is most closely related to L. forsmani Zimmer, 1943 from Baja California. The female of L. borzonei differs from that of L. forsmani by its larger size, its carapace being approximately 1/7th of the total length, the antennal notch very widely open, the second peraeopod very short, the uropodal rami approximately as long as the peduncle, and the uropodal endopod with a row of 9-13 plumose setae.
