Abstract

A new species of spider-lily, Hymen- ocallis godfreyi, is described and illustrated. It is a rare endemic that occurs in the St. Marks marsh at the confluence of the St. Marks and Wakulla Rivers, Florida. Its striking features are contrasted to an allied species, Hymenocallis rotata (Ker-Gaw- ler) Herbert.
