Abstract
ABSTRACTA new gall midge species, Eocincticornia malarskii, is described from galls on Eucalyptus fasciculosa F. Muell. from South Australia. Detailed descriptions of the larva, pupa, male, female and infestation symptoms are given. the new species is compared to E. australasiae Felt, the only other known species of the genus.
